There is strong evidence for the involvement of RORβ in epilepsy with multiple clinical reports describing familial and de novo variants, copy number variations, microdeletions, and balanced translocations in RORβ amongst epileptic patients (Boudry-Labis et al. 2013; Baglietto et al. 2014; Bartnik et al. 2014; Lal et al. 2015; Rudolf et al. 2016). This evidence concerns the gene RORB and epilepsy.
