In this study, the hemoglobin level of malnutrition was significantly lower than that of non-malnutrition (104.75 g/L vs. 121.04 g/L, p = 0.001), there was also a significant difference between the two groups in transferrin (167 mg/dL vs. 190.08 mg/dL, p < 0.001), and low transferrin level (<200 mg/dL) was a risk factor for malnutrition in CKD.
