Sulaiman et al. [11] demonstrated that 2-(1-(4-(2-cyanophenyl)1-benzyl-1H-indol-3-yl)-5-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-1-oxa-3-azaspiro(5,5)undecane (CIMO) suppresses colony formation and viability of MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 breast cancer cells by inhibiting the overactivation of the STAT3 pathway, which is strongly related to the progression of different types of tumors.
