We considered many genes, but using a specific approach of prioritization, we delimited the scope of the studied genes to the top 10 candidate genes (APOE, PSEN1, INS, IL6, SQSTM1, SP1, HTT, LEP, HSPA4, BDNF), which comprise candidate genes of inverse comorbidity of HD and cancer. Here, HSPA4 is linked to Huntington disease.
