Mitochondrial proteins (Mitochondrial Encoded Cytochrome C Oxidase, Succinate Dehydrogenase Complex Iron–Sulfur Subunit B, Cytochrome C Oxidase Subunit 4l1, and Succinate Dehydrogenase Complex Flavoprotein Subunit A) were significantly (p < 0.05) reduced, and proteins involved in glycolysis (Hexokinase 2, Pyruvate Kinase, and Lactate Dehydrogenase) were significantly (p < 0.05) increased in ccRCC compared with non-cancerous renal tissue (Table 1).
