(2018) found that baicalin reduced TLR2 and MyD88 gene expression and the toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2), myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MyD88), and NF-κB-p65 protein expression in RA synovial fibroblasts (RA-FLS) [81], suggesting that the mechanism of baicalin’s action might be related to the inhibition of the TLR2/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway.
