Recently, Chang and coworkers, evaluating the effects of the treatment with 100 μg/mL of total flavonoids of litchi seeds (TFLS) for 48 h on prostate cancer cell lines, found that this compound inhibited the NF-κB signaling pathway by decreasing the phosphorylation of IκBα and NF-κB nuclear expression. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and prostate carcinoma.
