Additionally, 14 of the 35 STAT3-regulated genes that were downregulated in response to TTI-101 treatment have been shown to be associated with colorectal cancer metastases [40,41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,51,52], such as CRP, CTLA4, CXCL2, CXCL3, CXCR2, GJA1, HGF, IL11, MMP2, MMP3, MMP13, S100A9, SNAI2, and TGF-β (Table 1). Here, CRP is linked to colorectal cancer.
