MARK2 and neoplasm: Sorafenib is an orally administered multikinase inhibitor able to suppress tumor growth through inhibition of serine/threonine kinases and blockade of the RAF/MEK/ERK pathway and to prevent tumor angiogenesis through inhibition of VEGF 1–3, PDF-β, FMS-like tyrosin kinase 3, serine/threonine kinase (c-RAF and b-RAF) and EGFR, suppressing tumor growth and metastasis [22].
