CD28 and acute myeloid leukemia: Using UniCAR-T with CD28 as a co-stimulatory domain in combination with a CD123-specific TM (TM123) in an AML cell line (MOLM-13) xenograft mouse model, the authors observed a decrease in the number of AML cells in the BM and an increase in survival in the group of mice treated with TM123 compared to the control group (median survival 74 days vs. 53 days).
