Lenvatinib is a recently developed anticancer agent that takes effect by inhibiting the expression of VEGFR1-3, fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) 1-4, platelet-derived growth factor receptor α (PDGFRα), as well as the stem cell factor (SCF), and has been widely used in China for unresectable or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) [17].
