Based on the promising results of phase II trials that investigated the efficacy and side effects of ado-trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) [3, 4] and trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) [5], national comprehensive cancer network guideline has recommended them as options for patients with advanced HER2-mutant NSCLC, and the later got the approval by FDA in later line setting [6]. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
