F3 and cervical cancer: For instance, tisotumab vedotin, an investigational antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) directed against tissue factor (TF), a protein highly prevalent in multiple solid tumors, has demonstrated antitumor activity with a manageable and tolerable safety profile in women with previously treated recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer in a phase II clinical trial (NCT03438396) [72]. Additionally, as cervical cancer is caused by viral carcinogenesis, there is hope for the development of therapeutics that can trigger immune responses against both HPV and tumors in the coming years.
