In this study, we found that reducing the expression of SIRT1 in GC cells could significantly reduce the expression of FoxO1 and Rab7 in cells and increase the level of Ac-FoxO1, indicating that FoxO1 and Rab7 might be the downstream molecules of SIRT1, which can deacetylate FoxO1 and affect its gene transcription function. This evidence concerns the gene SIRT1 and gastric cancer.
