CD274 and Aagenaes syndrome: While the majority of cHLs seems to largely depend on the aberrant activation of the PD-1/PD-L1 axis to avoid host recognition, the cases that exhibit primary resistance CPIs might be reliant on the subversion of other immune-checkpoints, while in the context of secondary resistance these mechanisms, that may not be prevalent at diagnosis, might take the spotlight away from the PD-1/PD-L1 axis and restore effective immune evasion.
