NDUFB8 and Alzheimer disease: In contrast to the improved ATP5A MCs in CHRM1 reduced AD hippocampus, the SCs associated with MT-CO2 (complex IV) and NDUFB8 (complex I) were shifted to relatively lower molecular weight regions (100–480 kDa versus 66–146 kDa) (Figures 4C, D, blue dotted rectangles) indicating loss of associated interacting proteins.
