ARNT, also known as hypoxia-inducible factor-1β (HIF-1β), has been recognized as an oncoprotein that promotes tumor growth in response to hypoxia (Harris, 2002), including multiple myeloma (Hassen, et al., 2015; Huang, et al., 2021), lymphoid cancer (Gardella, et al., 2016) and melanoma (Leick, et al., 2019). Here, ARNT is linked to plasma cell myeloma.
