Furthermore, in an experimental model of allergic contact dermatitis on [poly-(I:C)]–stimulated human keratinocytes (HaCaT), CBD [5–20 μM] showed a dose-dependent anti-inflammatory effect on several biochemical markers, including MCP-2, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α, while simultaneously increasing cellular production of the endocannabinoid anandamide (AEA).
