Compared with the reference values, a reduction in the fraction of inspired O2 (FiO2) and changes in some biochemical parameters, such as coagulation (fibrinogen, D-dimer, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)), liver markers (blood urea nitrogen, BUN, and aspartate aminotransferase, AST), the inflammatory marker reactive C protein (CRP), the cardiac alteration of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) and slight lymphopenia were observed. Here, NPPB is linked to lymphopenia.
