The results of this study indicate that selective JAK1 inhibition will be as efficacious as pan‐JAK inhibitors in resolving inflammation and restoring hair growth in patients with Alopecia Areata (AA), with a reduced risk of causing respiratory infections, anaemia, neutropenia and thrombocytopaenia as has been associated with some pan‐JAK inhibitors.34, 35, 36, 37, 39.
