In the current study, ripretinib was found be effective in overall GIST patient population (mPFS: 7.1 months; DCR: 85.71%) as well in patients harboring KIT exon 11 mutations (mPFS: 7.1 months; DCR: 100%), KIT exon 9 mutations (mPFS: 3.9 months; DCR: 62.5%) and PDGFRA mutations (mPFS: NR; DCR: 100%). This evidence concerns the gene PDGFRA and gastrointestinal stromal tumor.
