The results showed that among the 20 selected genes that contributed to the prognosis prediction of SCLC chemotherapy, 9 were located in the same signal regulatory network and mostly at key nodes, indicating that CDK8-CD274-AKT1-TP53 may be an essential signal regulatory axis determining the prognosis of SCLC chemotherapy (Fig. 6C). This evidence concerns the gene CDK8 and small cell lung carcinoma.
