KLF5 and pulpitis: miR-224-5p, miR-126, and miR-206 are associated with the pathogenesis of pulpitis by controlling the activities of dental pulp cells.9,11,33 miR-9 modulates the proliferation of HDPCs by targeting KLF5.29 miR-148a-3p modulates the viability and differentiation by the Wnt1/β-catenin axis.16 All these miRNAs are proven to be related to the development of pulpitis.
