The contents of K. pneumoniae in feces (Fig. 2c, d), and as serological indicators, including levels of alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), triglyceride (TG), diamine oxidase (DAO) and D-lactate (D-LA) levels (Fig. 2f), were significantly elevated in mice fed with HiAlc Kpn, HK1/phikp15, FMT, and EtOH, accompanying hepatic steatosis (Fig. 2e). Here, HK1 is linked to fatty liver disease.
