Concentrations of MCP-1 were significantly elevated in dogs with stroke (mean = 196 pg/ml, median = 198, range = 83–277 pg/ml) compared to control dogs (mean = 66 pg/ml, median = 66 pg/ml, range = 35–101 pg/ml) (p < 0.0001) (Table 2 and Figure 2). Here, CCL2 is linked to stroke disorder.
