AFP and hepatocellular carcinoma: Odoribacter splanchnicus was found to be significantly and positively correlated with AFP, white blood cells (WBCs), and leukocytes (LYs); GCDCA and TCDCA were significantly and positively correlated with total bilirubin (TBIL) and GGT but significantly and negatively correlated with total protein (TP), platelets (PLTs), and immune cells such as LYs, indicating that HCC-related metabolites were closely related to the deterioration of liver function in HCC patients.
