Xu et al. thus hypothesized that cuproptosis in tumor cells could be promoted by depleting glucose as well as GSH in tumor cells and designed a glucose oxidase (Gox) engineered nonporous copper(I) 1,2,4-triazole ([Cu(tz)]) coordination polymer nanoplatform, namely, (GOx@[Cu(tz)]) and used it for starvation therapy-enhanced cuproptosis and photodynamic synergistic therapy.
