In summary, we found that the aberrated regulation of the m6A modification reader YTHDF1 in lung cancer caused tumorigenesis and metastasis, further revealed that YTHDF1 promotes the growth and metastasis of lung cancer cells via upregulating FTH translation and protein expression and identified FTH as a downstream target of YTHDF1-mediated m6A modification. This evidence concerns the gene YTHDF1 and lung cancer.
