Interestingly, although EPHB4 inhibits Ras-MAPK signaling in EC and EC proliferation through a RASA1-depednedent mechanism, in other cell types such as hepatic stellate cells or MC7 breast cancer cells, EPHB4 activates the Ras-MAPK pathway resulting in increased proliferation [16,19].
