Considering that the first four genes were significantly upregulated in DM but significantly down-regulated in HCC, the two diseases showed opposite expression trends, and the expression of LY6E, IFITM1, GADD45A, and MT1M may be more efficient in identifying the occurrence of HCC in DM patients at an early stage, which provides a feasible strategy for early screening of HCC. Here, LY6E is linked to dermatomyositis.
