In addition, we also found that CD1d is involved in herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1), pseudorabies virus (PRV) and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) infections, suggesting that CD1d is a pan-host factor involved in viral infection, although the mechanism needs further investigation (Supplementary Figure 5(A–D)). The gene discussed is CD1D; the disease is infection.
