Moreover, functional enrichment analysis showed that these three hub-bottleneck genes play an essential role in several signaling pathways, including TNF, NF-κB, IL-17, ubiquitin mediated proteolysis, Wnt, and the regulation of lipolysis, suggesting that these genes participate in obesity-related pathways and could be essential to understand the pathophysiology of obesity.
