When further combining age and gender with CETN2 and POFUT1 autoantibodies, the new prediction algorithm showed better diagnostic performance compared to the combined diagnostic value of CETN2 and POFUT1 autoantibodies, with the AUCs of 0.900 (95%CI: 0.868-0.933), 0.884 (95%CI: 0.842-0.926), 0.835 (95%CI: 0.771-0.898) in detecting ESCC, early ESCC and HGIN, respectively (Supplementary Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene CETN2 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
