While TSH receptor antibodies are thought to be involved in thyroid dermopathy, a case of thyroxine-induced pre-radial myxedema in 2019 was described in a 70-year-old woman who presented with yellow plaques on the extensor surface of her bilateral forearms with the aforementioned ‘peau d’orange’ appearance (as seen in Figure 1). Here, TSHR is linked to myxedema.
