We identified the well-known Xcr1+Irf8+Barf3+ cDC1 cluster as well as an Xcr1-Irf8+Batf+ cDC1 cluster which was present in allergen-naïve control mice and which expanded at least in frequencies during type-2 inflammation induced in a murine allergy model. This evidence concerns the gene IRF8 and allergic disease.
