In the GSE91061 melanoma cohort (Figure 8D), melanoma patients with SNAI2 low-expression had much better survival probability than patients with SNAI2 high-expression patients, and the response rate to anti-PD-1 was 0% in the SNAI2 high-expression subgroup, while 25% of patients responded to the anti-PD1 therapy in the SNAI2 low-expression subgroup (Figure 8E). This evidence concerns the gene PDCD1 and melanoma.
