To date, numerous studies have demonstrated that CPT1 is closely associated with the occurrence and development of tumor cells in lung cancer (Zaugg et al., 2011), colorectal cancer (Wang et al., 2018), breast cancer (Linher-Melville et al., 2011), hepatocellular carcinoma (Brown et al., 2018), gastric cancer (Wang et al., 2020), ovarian cancer (Shao et al., 2016) and prostate cancer (Joshi et al., 2019). The gene discussed is CPT2; the disease is gastric cancer.
