AS-IV (40 and 80 mg/kg/day) inhibited the degree of myocardial hypertrophy induced by AAC through upregulation of the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway (Nie et al., 2019a), suggesting that AS-IV improved myocardial hypertrophy through antioxidants. Here, HMOX1 is linked to cardiac hypertrophy.
