PD-1, Tim-3, and PD-1+Tim-3+ expression on CD8+ T cells showed significant downregulation in post-LVA compared to lymphedema; 17.1 (11.7–25)% vs. 15.9 (10.2–19.4)%, p = 0.01; 3.5 (1.8–6.5)% vs. 2.2 (1.3–4.0)%, p < 0.01; and 0.6 (0.3–1.0)% vs. 0.2 (0.1–0.5)%, p = 0.01 (Figures 3A–3D and Table S3), respectively.
