PD-1, Tim-3, and PD-1+Tim-3+ expression on CD4+ T cells showed significant downregulation in post-LVA compared to lymphedema; 30.7 (19.8–39.1)% vs. 27.1 (17.6–35.4)%, p = 0.03; 1.4 (0.9–3.0)% vs. 1.0 (0.7–1.4)%, p < 0.01; and 0.7 (0.4–1.1)% vs. 0.3 (0.2–0.6)%, p < 0.01, respectively (Figures 2A–2D and Table S3). Here, CD4 is linked to lymphedema.
