The diagnostic criteria of ABPA include bronchial asthma, immediate cutaneous hypersensitivity to A. fumigatus, elevated total and A. fumigatus‐specific serum IgE, pulmonary opacities, bronchiectasis, peripheral blood eosinophilia and presence of serum precipitins or raised IgG to A. fumigatus.
