Indeed, in our study, we found that the TRIM9 induced CEACAM6 overexpression upregulated the phosphorylation of Smad2/3 in bladder cancer cell lines, and the Smad2/3 inhibitors ITD-1 effectively suppressed the TRIM9 overexpression associated proliferation, metastasis and chemoresistance in vitro and in vivo. This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM6 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
