Compared to the non-PCOS group, the PCOS group showed increased testosterone levels and FAI scores in normal BMI (P < 0.001 and P = 0.027, respectively), overweight (P = 0.048 and P = 0.037, respectively), and obesity (P < 0.001 and P = 0.001, respectively) and fasting insulin level and HOMA scores in normal BMI (P = 0.007 and P = 0.010, respectively), overweight (P = 0.000 and P = 0.003, respectively), and obesity (P = 0.002 and P = 0.004, respectively) (Figures 1 [a-g] and 2 [a-g]).
