SKOV-3, a high-grade serous ovarian cancer cell line, has been reported to contain many factors that contribute to cancer survival and chemoresistance, including the absence of the p53 protein [9,10,11], mutation of adenine/thymine (AT)-rich interactive domain-containing protein 1A (ARID1A) [12], mutation of phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3CA) genes [13], and overexpression of histone deacetylase isoform [14]. Here, ARID1A is linked to cancer.
