Based on the observation that some salivary gland carcinomas showed significant uptake in [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 PET-CT (Positron Emission Tomography—Computed Tomography) [13,14,15] and in view of the encouraging results of patients treated for castration-resistant prostate cancer [16], some teams treat metastatic salivary gland carcinoma by [177Lu]Lu-PSMA-617. This evidence concerns the gene FOLH1 and prostate cancer.
