It has a unique mechanism of action compared to other IL-17A agents since it selectively binds to the A subunit of the IL-17 receptor and blocks the biological activity of the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-17 (IL-17A, IL-17F, IL-17A/F heterodimer, IL -17C, and IL-17E [IL-25]), resulting in anti-inflammatory effects and improvement in clinical symptoms associated with psoriasis [13,14,15,16,17,18,19]. Here, IL25 is linked to psoriasis.
