Ceritinib (an off-target IGF-1R antagonist) was approved by the FDA in 2014 for the treatment of ALK-mutated non-small cell lung cancer, while teprotumumab (an IGF-1R antagonist) was approved in 2020 for the treatment of active thyroid eye disease (TED, also known as Graves’ ophthalmopathy) [25,26]. Here, IGF1R is linked to Graves ophthalmopathy.
