Heatmaps showed that tumours assigned as high hypoxia were associated with higher expression of both immune-suppressive (checkpoint, TGFβ -ECM, M2 TAM, exhausted CD8, macrophage, and neutrophil) and anti-tumour (M1 TAM, cytotoxic, DC, NK cell, and T cell) gene signatures. The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is neoplasm.
