After 28 days of intraperitoneal administration of liraglutide (2 mg/kg), inflammatory cell infiltration and TGF-β1 content in BLAF in mice were reduced, and overexpression of α-SMA and VCAM-1 were inhibited; additionally, NF-κB p65 DNA binding activity and the ratio of phosphor-NF-κB p65/total-NF-κB p65 were decreased in BLM-induced pulmonary fibrosis mice [56]. Here, NFKB1 is linked to pulmonary fibrosis.
