Indeed, it has been shown that Lamin B1 is important for TAD–TAD interaction in an mESC model of TKO for LMNA, LMNB1 and LMNB2 and that, more specifically, Lamin B1 depletion causes LAD detachment from nuclear lamina with a subsequent impact on chromatin redistribution and, thus, chromatin dynamics in MDB-MB-231 breast cancer cells [86,87]. The gene discussed is LMNB1; the disease is breast cancer.
