Based on the metabolomic exploratory analysis, both PCA and HCA separated CD Mennonite patients without GFD from CTs; however, two low 1:5 IgA-EMA positive samples clustered with a control having close relatives with rheumatoid arthritis, whereas one control with a close relative with CD clustered with highly positive CD patients with 1:80 IgA-EMA values (Figure 2A,B). The gene discussed is CD79A; the disease is rheumatoid arthritis.
